Nicole Bunyon resides in Sydney and is the Founder and Director of Running Mums Australia. Nicole is passionate about getting women running and remaining active. Nicole’s specialty is endurance running, particularly trail and ultra running and has participated and coached athletes to success from their first road race, to their first ultra marathon and beyond. Kate Heyward is a dedicated and passionate distance runner, writer and mum. She has been coaching for RMA for 6 years. Kate has been coaching runners of all levels since 2014, guiding them to achieve their running goals and dreams from beginners to ultra marathoners. Being a passionate runner herself and a mum, Kate knows what it takes to get to the start line and manage training with a busy lifestyle. Kate is also an Accredited Coach and Level 2 Intermediate Recreational Running Coach (Athletics Australia). She works with runners of all levels, guiding them to achieve their dreams. Jenny’s running has evolved quickly from her first Half Marathon in 2013, having now lost count on her marathons, and running Ultra Marathon distances most weekends in training. She has completed several 100km Ultras, and her first miler in 2019. Jenny primarily loves the longer stuff, being out in nature, but uses the road and track to pick up her pace when needed.
Jenny has been coaching runners since 2017 with a passionate dedication to achieving success and meeting goals and expectations of her clients. Jenny is approachable and listens to what you need. Together she can adapt a training plan that works into your busy lives and schedule.

After a lifetime of running experiences and racing, Jody now enjoys applying that depth of knowledge through coaching. Jody assists runners of all abilities and stages in their running journeys to work toward their goals as well as maintain longevity in the sport.
Jody participated in her first 10k race at age 13, ran track and cross country in high school and conquered her first marathon in the late 90s. She had long enjoyed helping friends reach their running goals so became an Athletics Australia accredited coach in 2015.
Since 2015, Jody has been coaching a variety of in-person running/interval sessions as well as developing training programs online for runners, from absolute beginners to sub-3 hour marathoners. She is also the coach for Run2Cure, a race held in Sydney benefiting the children’s cancer neuroblastoma.
As a coach, jody is approachable, a good listener and aim to adapt training into each runners’ lifestyle. She has years of experience training in various conditions (from a Chicago winter to a Sydney summer), training throughout various stages of life (youth, pre and post pregnancy, middle age) as well as racing across distances. Jody is a road runner at heart having hailed from urban Chicago and has raced 3k to 50k in the recent years and become an avid parkrun enthusiast .
