Amy O’Halloran has been running ever since she could.

But, only since she became a Mum to her beautiful Henry, did Amy have a newfound passion to run.

Henry was born at 34 weeks and spent his first month in hospital. At just 8 months postpartum Amy set out to run her first ever Half Marathon. More importantly though Amy was running for the “Running for Premature Babies foundation.” Amy said she would be thinking of her Henry and all the other Prem babies and their families throughout the 21.1km, knowing no matter how hard the race gets or how tired and fatigued she becomes, it will never compare to those weeks spent in the NICU.

Within the year of Henry’s birth and just over, Amy has run 3 half Marathons, 12km, 10km and 5km Personal Bests.

Amy runs with heart and love and She thinks of Henry every step of the way. Racing to her, now, is not about the time or place. It’s about so much more.

Amy is looking forward to what’s in-store in 2020 and beyond.
